CORAM:
S. V. GANGAPURWALA, J.
DATE:
th August, 2018 PER COURT :
1.
Mr. Rakhunde, the learned counsel submits that respondent no. 3 was elected as Upsarpanch. As the post of Sarpanch became vacant, as such, respondent no. 3 was officiating as Sarpanch. He failed to hold the four Gramsabhas and twelve monthly meetings in the year 2014 - 2015. The collector has also observed the same in the order but still has dismissed the complaint.
2 wp 604.17 2.
The learned A.G.P. and the learned counsel for the respondents supports the order.
3.
From the order it appears that in the year - 2014- 2015 Gramsabhas were held on 15.05.2014, 15.08.2014, 18.09.2014 and 09.10.2014, so also, 26.01.2015. More than four Gramsabhas were held as per the chart in a year. In view of the said details available, it appears that the observation in clause no. 3 that only two Gramsabhas were held is improper. In view of that writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
