By these applications, the applicants seek to condone the delay caused in filing the appeals challenging the award passed by the Reference Court under the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act.

The learned Advocate appearing for the respective applicants submits that the delay has occasioned on account of administrative and procedural aspects. The applicants have not derived any disadvantage by making such delay. They invite attention of this Court to the reasons as stated in the applications and submit that the sufficient cause is made out to condone the delay.

The learned Advocate appearing for the respondents opposes the contentions on the ground that the reasons as stated in the applications do not constitute sufficient cause. 4.

Having considered the submissions advanced and after going through the averments in the applications, it is apparent that applicants require to obtain various administrative and procedural sanctions. Time consumes in getting the such compliance. In that view of the matter, delay occurred in filing the appeals is sufficiently explained. Hence, case is made out to condone the delay. Hence, the following order:-

ORDER

a.

Civil Applications are allowed.

b.

Delay caused in filing the appeals is condoned.

(6) c.

The appeals be registered subject to removal of office objections, if any.

d.

Civil Applications are disposed of.
