A short issue is involved in this matter. The Petitioner prays that, his revision application under Section 61 of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act, dated 06/09/2018, is yet to be decided by the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Parnbhani.

In view of the said issue, we requested the learned Advocate Shri. B. A. Shinde to cause an appearance since he is on the Panel of the Zilla Parishad, Parbhani. As a short issue is involved, we thought it appropriate, not to keep this petition

10398.23wp (2) pending and hence, on request, Shri. Shinde caused his appearance.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. We direct the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Parbhani, to follow the due procedure laid down in law and issue notices to all the stakeholders involved in the matter and decide the pending revision application of the Petitioner, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within 60 days from today.

A disciplinary action has been initiated against the Petitioner. He has already been terminated and the appeal is pending. If his post is filled in, the same would be subject to the result of the appeal or the litigation in relation to the termination of the Petitioner.
