31.08.2018 P.C. :- It would be open for the petitioner to raise appropriate objections as regards the entitlement of respondent no.5 to caste vote in the meeting since he cannot continue as a Member of the Village Panchayat. It is the contention of the petitioner that by virtue of deeming provision of Section 101A(ii) of the Village Panchayat Act, the respondent no.5 shall be deemed to have incurred the disqualification. If an objection is raised, in that regard the Presiding Officer may take suitable steps. With liberty as aforesaid the writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
