The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, confines the petition only for issuing directions to the Superintendent of Police, Jalna, to decide the representation filed by the petitioner on 25.07.2016 expeditiously. He further submits that even the statements of the family members of the petitioner have not been recorded by the Investigating Officer.

The learned A.P.P. for the respondents submits that the 'B' Summary report has been forwarded to the superior Officer, for approval. 4.

After hearing the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned A.P.P. appearing for the respondents, in our opinion, the ends of justice would be met if the Superintendent of Police, Jalna is directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner and after summoning the investigation papers, to take decision on the representation filed by the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, however, within four weeks from today.
