In case, the petitioners file an application with the Special Land Acquisition Officer for grant of rental compensation, then the concerned Special Land Acquisition Officer shall decide the said application expeditiously and preferably within a period of nine (9) months from the date of receipt of application after hearing the petitioners, the acquiring body and all interested parties. 3.

Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
