The learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that, the only prayer put forth is that Respondent No.1 may decide the appeal preferred by the petitioner for challenging the order dated 29.06.2022, passed by respondent No.2. The appeal is preferred on 13.07.2022 before the Additional Chief Secretary (Appeal and Security) Mantralaya, Mumbai under Section 33 of the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951. The petitioner desires to operate an Orchestra in the Restaurant and Bar and, therefore, prays for Premises and Performance license.

Considering the above, this petition is disposed of. We expect respondent No.1 to take a decision on the merits of the appeal, as expeditiously as possible, and preferably on or before 30th January 2023. The petitioner is satisfed with the time frame.
