The order impugned in this petition amounts to causing reversion of the Petitioner. Section 59 of the Maharashtra Universities Act provides an efficacious, expeditious and statutory remedy to assail the order of reversion. The Petitioner is at liberty, in view of the provisions of the Maharashtra Universities Act, to raise his grievance with regard to his reversion by filing an appeal under Section 59. In the light of the above, Shri Deshmukh, learned Advocate for the Petitioner, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw this Writ Petition with liberty to avail of the remedy under Section 59 of the Maharashtra Universities Act.
