PER COURT:- 1.

The father of the petitioner passed away on 25.01.2020. He was a permanent peon in respondent no.4 School. The petitioner moved an application on 25.02.2020 seeking compassionate appointment. He has now completed Diploma in Pharmacy and can be appointed to the post of Laboratory Assistant. A representation put forth by the petitioner dated 30.11.2021 is pending. It is contended that the college has resolved to fill in the post of Laboratory Assistant.

In view of the above, since the petitioner prays that a decision be taken on his application

(2) 178-wp-10441-2022 for compassionate appointment, that this petition is disposed off. We direct respondent nos.3 and 4 to consider the application of the petitioner dated 25.02.2020 for appointment on compassionate basis, as expeditiously as possible and in any case, on or before 31.01.2023.
