The petitioners' Institution which runs the Child Care Home since prior to the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, is seeking renewal under the new Act, in the light of the observations of this Court in the mater of Mother Teresa Balakashram Versus The State of Maharashtra and others, Writ Petition No. 7821 of 2021 decided on 08 September 2021. 2.

The petitioners' proposal is pending with the respondents.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondents to take necessary steps and take decision on the

petitioners' proposal in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of six weeks. 4.

If shortcomings are noticed, opportunity shall be extended to the petitioners to cure those.
