Mr.Bolkar, learned Counsel for respondent/ University submits that the grievance of the petitioner can be referred to the Grievance Committee under section 79 of the Maharashtra Public Universities Act. The Grievance Committee is functioning.

None appears for the petitioner. We are adjourning the matter at the behest of the petitioner since September, 2017. On 11.09.2018, we had passed order that if the matter is not worked out, this Court will be constrained to dismiss the matter. On 25.09.2018 adjournment was sought on the ground that Mr. Nagargoje,

( 2 ) wp8905.11 learned Counsel is not well. Today also when the matter is called out, none appears for the petitioner. 3.

The petitioner is seeking permanent approval to his appointment with all consequential benefits. Considering the nature of the dispute, it will be appropriate for the Grievance Committee to decide the dispute.

The petitioner may approach the Grievance Committee of the University. In-case, the petitioner approaches the Grievance Committee, the Grievance Committee shall decide the same on its own merits in according with law.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
