The petitioner is before this Court praying for a direction to the respondent/ employer to disburse the leave encashment amount and traveling allowance, on retirement. He has availed of voluntary retirement under the Voluntary Retirement Scheme and was relieved from service on 01.11.2021.

We requested Shri Shelke, the learned advocate, who is on the panel of advocates of the respondent/company, to assist the Court as we intended to direct the competent authority of the respondent company to deal with the representation filed
*2* 26wp10120o22 by the petitioner dated 23.08.2022 addressed to the Executive Engineer of the respondent/company at Kannad, District Aurangabad. Shri Shelke has conveyed to us that the company has a panel of advocates and after receiving notice, the matter is allotted to an advocate. Considering the above and since the matter need not be kept pending only because the respondent/company is represented by an advocate after notice, that we requested Shri Shelke.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off.

Let the competent authority of the respondent/ company deal with the representation dated 23.08.2022 put forth by the petitioner, on or before 25.12.2022. A decision on the representation be conveyed to the petitioner on or before 10.01.2023.

Needless to state, if the petitioner is entitled for any amount, the employer would endeavour to release the admissible amount within 30 days from the date of quantifying the amount. kps (SANJAY A. DESHMUKH, J.) (RAVINDRA V. GHUGE, J.)
