It is brought to my notice by the litigating sides that in view of law laid down by this Court vide judgment dated 28.08.2018 in Writ Petition No. 5362 of 2017 (Vishwanath Marotrao Ganjre Vs. Divisional Joint Registrar and others), the petitioners have alternate statutory remedy U/Sec. 9

2 wp 11017.18 of the Maharashtra Money Lending Regulation Act, 2014, to approach the Registrar (General). In view of the statutory remedy available to the litigating sides, this Court isn't inclined to entertain writ petitions.

Both the petitions are disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to avail alternate statutory remedy. Time spent in prosecuting the present matters shall be considered by the Competent Authority/Registrar (General) for the purpose of condonation of delay. Petitioners are granted liberty to prefer appropriate proceedings along with applications for condonation of delay, for interim relief/directions within a period of eight (08) weeks from today. Ad-interim arrangement granted by this Court vide order dated 24th October, 2018 shall remain in force for a period of 08 (Eight) weeks from today or till further orders are passed by the competent authority on interim applications.
