1) The Petitioner has tendered an application to the Hon'ble Chief Minister, requesting for his appointment as a member of Legislative Counsel and seeking a direction for expeditious disposal of the said application.

2) In our view, there is no right or entitlement vested in the petitioner to claim representation to the Legislative Counsil and as such, the direction as prayed by the petitioner need not be issued. The Writ Petition is devoid of substance and the same stands rejected.
