Order :- 1.

The petitioners state that representations tendered by them for effecting correction in the orders relating to declaring teachers surplus are pending with Director of Education. It is also contended that Education Officer has referred the matters with remarks to the Director of Education, however, no decision as yet has been taken.

In the circumstances, we direct the Director of Education to take appropriate decision in the matters, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two weeks from today. Any decision relating to declaring the teachers surplus shall be subject to outcome of such decision, which would be taken by the Director of Education. 3.
