1] Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's land is acquired in the year 1973. On 16.09.1990, letter is issued by the Authority to the petitioner'

s father indicating that he is entitled for 1 Hector 62 R. alternate land for rehabilitation. On 18th July, 2017, the Circle Inspector submitted report to respondent no.4 about allotment of agricultural land bearing Survey No. 53/1A/1-B admeasuring 79 R. situated at Salabatpur, Taluka Newasa, District Ahmednagar. However, till today no further action is taken. The petitioner has filed representation on 4th December, 2020 before the Deputy Collector [Rehabilitation]. However, no further steps are taken.

3] In case the petitioner's representation / application [page-20] is pending with respondent no.3, then respondent no.3 shall take decision upon it and also further steps as may be permissible under law. The said decision shall be taken preferably within nine [9] months. 4] Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
