Heard learned counsel for the applicants.

We find that the F.I.R. in the present case was registered as far back as on 11.11.2016, before Taluka Jalna Police Station, District Jalna, for the offences under Sections 498(A), 323, 504 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

About nine years have gone by and we are informed that as on today, the proceeding is pending before the competent Court for recording of evidence.

At this stage, after passage of such a long period of time, when the trial is pending, no special circumstances are made out by the applicants to show indulgence and to entertain this application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, wherein inherent powers can be exercised by this Court. 5.
