It appears that possession of the petitioner's land has been taken long back, without any acquisition proceedings or without any agreement. In the circumstances, it would be expedient that the respondents commence acquisition proceedings in right earnest and complete the same within a span of a year. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that there would be no objection for measurement of the land. 3.

In view of the aforesaid, as referred above, the respondents are directed to complete acquisition proceedings within one year from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Writ petition, accordingly, disposed of.
