I have heard learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the respondent State. I have also perused the status report.

It appears that till this date, the prosecution has examined the medical officer who has conducted postmortem examination of the dead body. Learned APP, on instructions submits that 4/5 witnesses remained to be examined including the Investigating Officer.

In view of the above, the learned Judge of the trial court is hereby directed to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of this order, by day to day hearing if possible. I hope and expect from the learned counsel for the accused before the trial court and also from the special prosecutor to cooperate the trial court to dispose of the case in expeditious manner as directed by this Court. 4.
