Heard the learned Advocate for the petitioners, Mr. Barde and Mr. Reddy learned Advocates for Municipal Council in all these four matters.

In the respective petitions of all these petitioners, by common order dated 17.04.2017, the respondent/Municipal Council was directed to pay to them the difference in 6th pay commission and admissible retiral benefits within three months. It was also directed that the Municipal Council shall be liable to pay interest at the rate of 6% p.a. on the amount of retiral benefit to be calculated, as directed therein after the lapse of six months after the date of retirement till the amount was paid. Even that interest amount was to be paid within four months. Since the Municipal Council was unable to obey this order, the petitioners are before this Court.

The Chief Officer of the respondent no.6/Municipal Council, Udgir has filed an affidavit on 17.04.2023, wherein he has annexed the chart expressly indicating the amounts payable to each of these four petitioners. Since the Chief Officer has now expressly mentioned and quoted the amount to which the petitioners are entitled to, we direct him to disburse the amounts to the petitioners as per this chart (ExhibitR1) annexed to his affidavit dated 17.04.2023 within eight weeks as directed in the order dated 17.04.2017 together with interest. 3.
