Heard. None present for the acquiring body. These are applications for condonation of delay in preferring the appeal by the original claimants against the judgment and award of the reference court.

The applicants are the poor agriculturists who have lost 1/2

41.CA.6557.19.odt their lands. They were not to gain anything by allowing the appeals to be barred by time. Though the delay is enormous it deserves to be condoned subject to the condition that the applicants be allowed to claim interest for the period of delay.

The applications are allowed subject to the condition that the applicants shall not be entitled to claim interest for the period of delay.
