We have heard the learned advocate for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondents/State. 2.

The Court would not come to the aid of a litigant who is not diligent, on the contrary is lethargic. The petitioner was issued with the tribe certificate in December 2019 and he filed proposal seeking validity of his tribe claim on 23.07.2021 and now approached the Court seeking directions to the committee to decide the proceedings immediately.

We may not issue substantive directions to the Committee in this regard. However, considering the fact that, the petitioner is exploring the possibility of admission to the professional Court,

2 wp 11315.21 the Committee may if it is possible for it endeavour to decide the validation proceeding of the petitioner expeditiously. The petitioner may appear before the Committee on 13.10.2021. 4.

In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
