Delay of 58 days caused in filing the appeal against the award passed by the Member of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal is sought to be condoned by the present application.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that as the applicant was busy in taking care of his old aged mother, who is suffering from blood pressure, delay has occurred in approaching the lawyer and consequently there is delay in filing the appeal.

Sufficient reason is made out. The delay is therefore condoned.
