Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned APP for respondents.

At the outset, the learned APP has tendered across the Bar communication dated 29-11-2016 addressed to the Additional Public Prosecutor by the Under Secretary, Home Department, Government of Maharashtra. The same is taken on record and marked as "X" for identification purpose.

Upon perusal of communication dated 29-11-2016, it appears that the Prisoner C-4496 -Ravindra Ajabsing Patil has completed 20 years, 09 months and 05 days of total

2 Cri.WP-1127-16 imprisonment including remissions as on 31-08-2015 and as and when applicant / petitioner completes 30 years imprisonment in the Open District Prison including remissions, he will be released from jail.

In that view of the matter, prayers made by the petitioner in instant petition are satisfied.

In light of the above, petition stands disposed of. 6.

The fees payable to the advocate appointed on behalf of the petitioner be paid to him as per rules.
