Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the respondent-State.

The applicant is apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No. 246/2024 dated 3.4.2024 registered with Parner Police Station, District Ahmednagar for the offences punishable under sections 420, 468, 471 of I.P.C.

This Court by order dated 22.11.2024 has granted interim protection to the applicant for the reasons stated in para Nos. 3 and 4 that order, which reads as under :- "3] The present applicant is arrested on the basis of the statement of the co-accused, who has used the disability certificate taking benefit from the Government. On interrogation, the said co-accused has stated before the Police that the applicant has prepared the said documents and there are call record between the applicant and coaccused, which is produced by the learned APP. 4] The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is 70 years old and he is illiterate and although he is known to the accused no.1, the present applicant has no concerned in preparing the forged disability certificate."

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that in pursuance of the order dated 16.1.2025, the applicant has attended the police station and has cooperated with the investigation. As regards presence of the applicant in police station is concerned, no dispute is raised by the learned APP. 5.

Considering the same, the application is allowed and the interim protection granted on 22.11.2025 is confirmed on the following terms : i] The applicant shall attend the police station as and when required.

ii] The applicant shall not tamper with the evidence of the prosecution in any manner. He shall not influence the informant, witnesses and other persons concerned with the case. iii] The applicant shall co-operate with the investigation and also in the proceedings before the trial Court.

In the event, the applicant violates any of the conditions specified in this order, it shall be liable to be cancelled. 7.

It is also clarified that the observations made in this order are limited to the disposal of the present anticipatory bail application and the trial Court shall proceed further in the matter without being influenced by the observations made hereinabove.

The application stands disposed of.
