Learned AGP for the applicants presses for interim relief stating that warrant of attachment in execution has been issued and thus there is exigency. Learned AGP submits that the reference court has hiked the rate of compensation unreasonably and on too meager evidence.

On the other hand, learned Counsel for the original claimants, Mr. Gundre, submits that in the first appeals filed by the State against the decisions of reference court, which pertain to the
(Order) (3) C.A. No. 10805 of 2019 same notification and which are of the lands similarly situated, this Court had directed deposit of entire award amount as per decision of the reference court.

Having regard to above, there would be interim relief staying operation and effect of the award passed by the reference court, on the condition that the entire award amount pursuant to the reference court decision is deposited, in this court, within a period of twelve weeks. In case of failure to deposit the amount, interim relief granted under this order would cease to operate without further reference to the court.
