During the course of arguments, learned Advocate for the Petitioner points out and relies upon order passed by this Court in Writ Petition No. 1485/2020 with connected Petitions wherein the submissions of learned Chief Government Pleader are recorded that now, the Government has passed new Resolution dated 14.12.2022, neturalising the effect of Government Resolution dated 21.12.2019. 2.

The grievance of the Petitioner is in view of Government Resolution dated 21.12.2019. This Court, in order dated 16.12.2022 passed in Writ Petition No. 1485/2020 has made it clear that the

- 2 - wp8579.20.odt consequential orders passed pursuant to Government Resolution dated 21.12.2019 shall become inoperative.

In view of this, we find that this Petition can be conveniently disposed of in view of Paragraph No. 8 of the order passed in Writ Petition No. 1485/2020, which is reproduced as under :- 8.

The learned Chief Government Pleader and the learned A.G.Ps. submit on instructions that, by the present Government Resolution dated 14.12.2022, the effect of the Government Resolution dated 21.12.2019 would be neutralized. Consequently, the orders issued by the employers, passed on the basis of the said Government Resolution, would also be rendered inoperable.

Petition stands disposed off in above terms. Needless to say that the consequences would follow. The Government is expected to release all the benefits as expeditiously as possible, preferably before March 2026.
