It is informed by the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant, that pursuant to the order of dismissal of appeal upholding the conviction of the applicant under the provisions of Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, he has surrendered and is behind bars since 23rd August, 2016. A categorical statement is made that the amount of fine is already deposited.

In view thereof, the substantive sentence stands suspended and the applicant be released on bail on the same terms on which he was admitted to bail by the learned Trial Court.
