This petition can be disposed of on a short count. 2.

The petitioner is seeking direction to respondent Nos. 1 to 4 to pass an award in land acquisition case applying the provisions of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. The said land acquisition proceedings have been initiated for acquisition of land for percolation tank No.4 at Chumbali, bearing Survey No. 376, 377, 378, 420, 145 of Chumbali, Taluka Patoda Dist. Beed. 3.

Learned AGP has tendered a letter dated 16 June, 2022 from the Land Acquisition Officer Beed. Copy of the said letter is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification. Perusal of the said

926wp10750-19 letter shows that notification under section 11(1) of the said Act has been published in Government Gazette on 8 January 2022. However, one Mr. Vitthal Aaba Pawal has lodged an objection relating to 0.20 R of the land. For deciding the said objection, a report is called from the Assistant Superintendent of Land Records, Patoda, which is awaited. The Land Acquisition Officer has stated that on receipt of the report, the matter would be proceeded as per law.

In that view of the matter, following order is passed:

O R D E R

i.

The Assistant Superintendent of Land Records, Patoda shall expedite the report called by the Land Acquisition Officer, Beed. ii.

On receipt of such report, the Land Acquisition Officer shall proceed to conclude the land acquisition proceedings in accordance with the time line as stipulated in the 2013 Act. iii. Writ petition is accordingly disposed of in the aforesaid terms. SANDIPKUMAR C. MORE, J C. V. BHADANG, J. JPChavan
