The petitioner, who has received compensation on account of acquisition of his land and has also received a Project Affected Person's certificate (PAP), prays for an alternate land. His representation dated 13.01.2022, addressed to the District Collector, Aurangabad, which does not mention the provisions of law, under which the said representation is made, is pending.

The petitioner has invoked the provisions of The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off.

Let the respondent No.2 deal with the representation dated 13.01.2022, strictly in accordance with the Maharashtra Project Affected Persons Rehabilitation Act, 1986 and the Government Resolution, as may be applicable, expeditiously and preferably on or before 31.01.2023.
