By means of this writ petition, a prayer has been made to direct the competent authority to release the amount to the petitioners - Gram Panchayats.

The works assigned to the petitioners - Gram Panchayats have been completed.

However, despite

{2} 904 sr.no.odt completion of the work as per the sanction by the competent authority, the amount is not being released.

In view of the aforesaid, we dispose of the petition with a direction to the respondent No.1 to consider the prayer of the petitioners - Gram Panchayats and take appropriate decision within a period of two months.
