The petitioners are awaiting final out come of a proceeding initiated by them under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 about which they were served with notice by the Special Land Acquisition Officer dated 25.01.2010 calling upon them to attend the hearing (Exh. 'D') 5.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to decide the petitioners' application preferred under Section 28-A, as early as possible, if it is not already decided and in any event within 12 weeks from today.
