Learned Counsel for Respondent-Committee, on instructions, states that the proposal for verification of tribe certificate issued in favour of the petitioner, pending with the Scrutiny Committee, would be decided within a period of eight months from today.

Statement is accepted. In view of the statement made, Respondent-Scrutiny Committee is directed to take decision on the proposal for verification of tribe certificate issued in favour of the petitioner, pending with the Committee, within time stipulated above.

{2} wp944915.odt Petitioner has already been admitted to M.B.B.S. Course in pursuance to the interim order passed by this Court. He shall be entitled to prosecute further studies and shall be permitted to appear for examination/s subject to decision of the Committee in respect of verification of tribe certificate of the petitioner and until such decision, no coercive action shall be taken against him.

In view of the directions issued as above, writ petition stands disposed of.
