The applicants herein are arrested on 8th September, 2015 for the offence punishable under Section 7, 13(1) (d) read with 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act when they were red handed in the trap.

It is not in dispute that, the applicants are public servants.

The custodial interrogation of the applicants is already over and are in M. C. R.

Having perused the contents of the F.I.R. in the above referred background, in my opinion, no fruitful purpose will be served in detaining the applicants, they being public servants. 5.

In view of above, I pass following order :

(a) The applicants be released on bail on furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs. 15,000/- (Rs. Fifteen Thousand only ) with one surety in the like amount by each applicant, in connection with the Crime No. 3011/2015 of Marwad Police Station, District Jalgaon for the offence punishable under Section 7, 13(1) (d) read with 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

(b) Till filing of the chargesheet, the applicants shall keep themselves away from the jurisdiction of the concerned police station.
