VERSUS

ADDITIONAL COMMISSIONER, NASHIK DIV. AND ORS ...

Advocate for Petitioner : Mr. B.S.Deshmukh AGP for Respondents: Mr. S.B. Pulkundwar.

CORAM : K.K. SONAWANE,J.

DATE : 19TH SEPTEMBER, 2016.

PER COURT:- Learned counsel appearing for both the parties submit that as the term, for which the respondent No.4 was elected as a member of the Gram Panchayat, i.e. 2010 to 2015 has already expired, the prayers made in the petition are rendered infructuous.

2] The writ petition is, therefore, dismissed as infructuous. In case, if any cause of action arises in respect of disqualification of respondent No.4 under Section 14(J)(1) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act, the petitioner would be at liberty to take recourse to legal remedy for redressal of his grievance, if any.

[ K.K. SONAWANE] JUDGE.
