Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the respondent. 3.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that in the order dated 22/08/2025, paragraph No. 3 reads as follows : "3.

Considering the submissions made above, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to the appellate authority to decide the stay application within a period of four weeks from today failing which the petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court for appropriate remedy. In the event of filling up of the petitioner's post in the interregnum, the same would be subject to the orders of the appellate authority." However, the learned Counsel submits that instead of above directions, the following direction were intended to be issued : "3.

The learned Counsel for the respondent has not objected to the request made by the petitioner, as the same was intended by this Court while passing the above order.

In view of the above, it is directed that the Appellate Authority shall not declare the election to the post of Sarpanch until the decision on the Stay Application is rendered.

Necessary corrections be carried out in the last three lines of paragraph No.3 of the order dated 22/08/2025. Copies, if already issued, shall be deemed to have been corrected accordingly. 7.
