Heard Mr. Nandagavale h/f. Mr. Sakolkar and the learned A.G.P.

None appears for respondent no.2 - acquiring body, though duly served.

Learned counsel for the applicants submits that delay is caused in filing the present appeals, as the applicants-appellants being the poor persons, could not make arrangement for the Court fees and even the compensation amount was not paid.

Considering the background of the cases and finding that reasonable ground is made out, the delay caused in filing of each of the appeals is condoned and the Civil Applications are allowed on the condition that the appellants-applicants would file an undertaking in this Court within a period of eight weeks from the date of this order that in case any enhancement in the compensation is granted, they will not claim statutory interest on the said amount for the delayed period. 5.

Upon failure to file said undertakings within the prescribed period, the present applications shall stand dismissed.

Civil Applications stand disposed of accordingly.
