Though the respondent No. 2 is served, none appears for respondent No. 2.

It is submitted that the matter has been settled in the Lok Adalat on 09.09.2017, but the compensation amount is not yet paid. 3.

As per the relevant Government Resolution, the amount of compensation settled before the Lok Adalat has to be paid within a period of six months. The same is not yet paid.

In case the award passed in Lok Adalat is still in force and as per the award dated 09.09.2017, the petitioner is entitled to the payment, then respondent shall make payment to the petitioner in accordance with the award, of course if there is no impediment within a period of four months.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
