By the present petition, the petitioner has challenged letter dated 27.10.2020 issued by the Desk Officer in the office of the Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection to the extent of grant of stay. By order dated 28.01.2021, this Court has directed to maintain status quo which order continues to operate till date. It is common ground that the revision preferred by respondent no.4 is still pending before the Minister.

In such circumstances, the petition can be conveniently disposed of by directing the State Government to decide the revision of respondent no.4 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a

period of six months from today. The interim order of status quo granted by this Court on 28.01.2021 shall continue to operate till decision of the revision.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
