The petitioner has filed application for refund of stamp duty on the ground that agreement itself stand cancelled. The Assistant District Registrar and Collector of Stamp, Jalgaon had directed the petitioner to place on record the original agreement and document of cancellation. According to the petitioner, the said documents are not accepted by the respondents. 2.

The petitioner may place the original documents as demanded under letter dated 16.03.2019 (page 52). Upon receipt of the said documents, the authority shall decide the application of the petitioner for refund of stamp duty on its on merits and in accordance with law, preferably within three months from receipt of the documents.
