2] Present applicant/appellant, who is convicted for the offence punishable under Section 325 of Indian Penal Code and directed to suffer rigorous imprisonment for two years and to pay compensation of Rs.25,000/-, by learned Addl. Sessions Judge,
2 4-crappln5529-14.odt Newasa in Sessions Case No.99 of 2014, has prayed for suspension of the substantive sentence and grant of bail, during pendency of the appeal. 3] Considering that short term sentence has been awarded to the applicant and that hearing of the appeal may take its own time, the substantive sentence is hereby suspended.
4] During pendency of the appeal, upon deposit of fine amount as well as compensation amount, if not already deposited, the applicant/appellant be released on bail upon his executing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.30,000/- (Rs.Thirty Thousand) and also upon furnishing surety in the like amount. 5] The application is allowed and disposed of accordingly.
