PER COURT:- 1.

The petitioner seeks direction against the Education Officer (secondary) to correct the date of birth in school record. It is submitted that the Education Officer (primary) has already corrected the date of birth to 15.04.1975.

It will not be possible for us to direct the authority to correct the date of birth as claimed by the petitioner. The petitioner may approach the Education Officer (secondary) through

(2) 108-wp-909-2018 proper channel that is through Zilla Parishad School, Asola Amba, Tq. Parali, Dist. Beed. The Education Officer shall consider the Regulation 26.4 of the Secondary School Code read with Appendix VI and take decision upon the said proposal on its own merits, in accordance with law, expeditiously and preferably within a period of six months from the date of proposal.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
