Mr. Chaudhari, the learned counsel for petitioners submits that, the petitioners are entitled for the benefit of Lad-Page recommendations. According to the learned counsel, the respondents have given appointment on the basis of Lad-Page recommendations even to those employees who have crossed 45 years of age. But the case of petitioners is not considered. According to the learned counsel, it is within the domain of

2 wp 11144.14 respondents to consider age relaxation.

We have heard the learned Additional Government Pleader also.

The circular dated 01st October, 2003 is placed on record, wherein the State has observed that, even in case of candidates who seek appointment as per Lad-Page recommendation, if need arises the recruitment rules be relaxed and the Lad-Page recommendations be implemented.

Considering the above, we pass following order. 5.

The petitioners shall file a comprehensive representation with the respondent No. 2 with regard to considering their case for recruitment in view of Lad-Page recommendation including question of age relaxation. The respondent No. 2 on receipt of the said representation shall consider the circular dated 01.10.2003 and take decision on the representation/application of the petitioners expeditiously on its own merits and preferably within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of representation. The writ petitions accordingly are disposed of. No costs.
