Petitioners belong to reserved category and have been admitted to medical course as against the seats earmarked for concerned reserved category. As a result of failure of petitioners to submit validation certificate, result of petitioners has not been declared. Caste verification proposals of petitioners are stated to be pending with the Scrutiny Committee. Directions to the Scrutiny Committee to take decision on the caste verification proposals of the concerned petitioner are already issued in Writ Petition no. 10498/2017 and other matters.

In the circumstances, these petitions stand disposed of with directions to respondent - Scrutiny Committee to take decision on the proposals of petitioners relating to caste/tribe certificate verification, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from today and, it is accordingly directed.

Respondent - University is directed to declare result of petitioners forthwith. If petitioners are found eligible and entitled to appear for the next examination, the concerned University / College shall accept examination forms of petitioners. 4.
Petitioners shall be permitted to prosecute further studies subject to the result of the caste certificate verification proposal pending with the Scrutiny Committee.

With the directions as above, writ petitions stand disposed of.
