The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has applied to the Gram Panchayat for recording his name in respect of the house purchased by him. The application is filed in the year 2014, but as yet the same is not yet decided.

Mr.S.S. Kulkarni, learned counsel appears for respondent No. 4 and submits that the vendor of the respondent has filed civil suit against the Gram Panchayat. 3.

The Gram Panchayat will be competent authority to

64WP2566-17 (2) pass an order on the application. Respondent No.4 shall pass an appropriate orders on the application of the petitioner (Exh.'B') on its own merits considering all the relevant aspects preferably within a period of six months. 4.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
