Mr Yeramwar, learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that validation proceeding in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner is pending with the Committee. The matter is at the stage of vigilance. The examination result is not declared by the institution and the university.

Considering the fact that validation proceeding is pending and the petitioner has appeared for examination of First year B.A.M.S. Examination, we pass the following order:

The respondent no.2 - Committee shall decide the validation proceeding in respect of tribe claim of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within four months from the date of appearance. The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 5th March 2018. The petitioner shall co-operate in expeditious disposal of the validation proceeding.

Respondents no.3 and 4 shall not withhold the result of the petitioner's First year B.A.M.S. examination only on the ground that validation proceeding is pending.

With these observations, Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 6.

In view of disposal of Writ Petition, Civil Application no.2246 of 2018 is disposed of.
