The petitioner seeks permission to terminate the pregnancy. The petitioner was referred to the Expert Committee constituted at the respondent No. 3/Dr. Shankarrao Chavan Government Medical College and Hospital, Vishnupuri, Nanded. 2.

The Expert Committee has examined the petitioner and submitted report through e-mail. The relevant part of the report reads thus.

"OPINION OF EXPERT COMMITTEE REGARDING MTP :- As continuation of pregnancy may involve risk to the life of pregnant women or grave injury to her physical and mental health and termination of pregnancy is also involving the risk to patients life hence all committee members advised termination of pregnancy should be done at higher centre where

The Expert Committee has recommended termination of pregnancy. The petitioner is explained about the risk involved in termination of pregnancy. The petitioner wants to proceed with the termination of pregnancy.

In the light of that, the petitioner is permitted to terminate the pregnancy in Government recognized center. 5.

The writ petition is disposed of.
