By the order dated 23 January 2023, passed in Writ Petition No. 578 of 2023, respondent no. 1 - Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad, was directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21 November 2022, which in turn was seeking release of the post retiral benefits.

As can be seen the retiral benefits have been paid except by withholding an amount of Rs. 2,37,000/- and purportedly on the ground that a prosecution for misappropriation has been pending against the petitioner.

Nothing survives. Petition is disposed of.
