Perused the order passed by the Deputy Collector (Rehabilitation), Nanded rejecting the request of petitioner for transfer of the project affected persons certificate in his favour. 2.

The certificate was initially issued on 13.07.1983 in the name of his father since the land belonging to his grandfather came to be acquired at the relevant time. The request for transfer of the certificate is made after lapse of 34 years. Belated request made by petitioner has been rightly turned down. In exercise of extra ordinary jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, no interference is called for in the instant petition. Petition is devoid of substance hence stands rejected.
