With the assistance of the Advocate Mr. Mukul Kulkarni, representative of the statutory corporation i.e. Godavari Marathwada Irrigation Development Corporation (for short 'GMIDC'), it is informed on instruction from the Senior Law Officer that the modalities are being finalized for the purpose of facilitating not only about the advance receipt of the copies of the proceedings to which the said GMIDC is a party, but also E-mail addresses shall be provided by publishing an appropriate notice in the daily cause list. He assures that such events shall be completed within a period of two weeks from today. The aforesaid approach on the part of the GMIDC is appreciated. 2.

In the aforesaid background, the submission made by Mr. Kulkarni on behalf of the GMIDC that the panel of Senior Standing Counsel shall be authorized to receive the advance copy of the petition is accepted and such names can be published in the daily cause list as suggested hereinabove.

As far as merit of the present petition is concerned, he has informed on behalf of respondent no.2 that the proposal for acquisition of the land of the petitioners is already submitted to the Land Acquisition Officer on 9th March, 2023. 4.

In this background, we expect respondent nos.3 and 4 to take the said proposal to its logical end as expeditiously as possible and in any case within the statutory period. 5.

Writ Petition stands disposed of.
